Classical Indian Acupuncture at Edayazham, Vechoor. Your healer reads your pulse, then gently touches a specific point to support your body's own healing.
Pain and discomfort are signals worth listening to. Tap a point on the body to see how Classical Indian Acupuncture looks at each concern.
Classical Indian Acupuncture is based on the Pancha Bhoota principle. Like everything in nature, the body is made of five elements, and wellbeing depends on the balance between them. Through pulse reading, your healer understands which element needs attention, and treatment aims to bring it back into balance.

The point that heals is often far from where it hurts. Guided by your pulse, we find the exact point where your body is asking for help.

The healer gently touches that one point with a fingertip for a few moments. It is quiet, simple and gentle, carried out in a calm, private room.

Treatment looks at the balance of the five elements in the whole person, so the same approach is used for concerns that can seem unrelated, from the joints to digestion to the mind.

Classical acupuncture is practised around the world, and Classical Indian Acupuncture is its Indian form. It is based on the Pancha Bhoota (five elements) principle: pulse reading shows which element is out of balance, and a gentle touch on a specific point helps bring it back into balance. It looks at the person as a whole.
We see patients of every age, including young children and elders, and every treatment is adapted to the person in front of us. Because the treatment is a gentle touch, children and elders are usually comfortable with it.
No. Please never stop prescribed medication on your own. Continue as advised by your doctor and tell us what you're taking. Acupuncture can work alongside your existing care, and any change to your medicines should be decided with your doctor.
It depends on the condition, how long you've had it, and how your body responds. Long-standing problems usually need more time. After your first consultation your healer will suggest a plan and review it with you as you go.
